At Metro Dogs, we understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s hygiene and appearance. We offer a range of great grooming services that can be booked during your pet’s daycare or overnight stay with us. During which, our Fear Free trained staff will spend some quality one-on-one time in the grooming room getting them fluffed and buffed. Consider their time with us as a well-deserved “daycation,” where they can indulge in a full spa experience. Rest assured, we only utilize professional quality grooming products, guaranteeing exceptional results that give you the best bang for your buck!
Speaking of savings, we offer grooming packages and pre-booking services during daycare or overnight care to keep your dog on a regular grooming schedule! Or book a full spa service to save, select any three grooming services and get the lowest priced service free of charge.
At this time, grooming services are available only to daycare clients. Walk-in grooming appointments are not available. We are not a full-service grooming salon and do not do any cutting or clipping of your dog’s coat. We are unable to provide grooming services for dogs with heavily matted coats, overgrown nails touching paw pads or dogs with stitches/wounds. Additionally, dogs that are overly fearful of grooming should be done at home or by a grooming professional, keep daycare fun for the sensitive pups!

Bath & Blow Dry
Includes bath with shampoo scrub & conditioner soak, followed by a full blow-dry.
Please note that all dogs are different, and the grooming rate is based on the dog’s size, breed type, coat condition (e.g. matting), and level of grooming needed.
Deshedding Add-On: for an additional charge, upgrade to shampoo & conditioner designed to draw out the loose undercoat for maximum deshedding results. Recommended for dogs with double coats.
Hypoallergenic Add-On: for no extra charge, upgrade to shampoo & conditioner designed to be gentle on skin and pH-balanced to avoid irritation. Recommended for dogs with sensitive skin.
Brush Out
Let us do the hard work! Service includes a complete brush out (no bath) using specialized tools for every coat type. Pricing will vary based on coat condition and type.
Veterinarians recommend daily brushing for dogs with long coats to keep their hair from becoming tangled or matted. Dogs with short-haired coats may require less frequent brushing, but regular brushing of any dog will cut down on the amount of dog hair tumbleweeds and dog dander floating around the home. Regular brushing will also cut down the amount of hair that a dog swallows when self-grooming with their tongue.
Nail Trim/Grind
The “basic pawdicure” service. Includes use of a nail clipper or Dremel (depending on what is best for your dog’s comfort level) to trim dog’s nails. We go slow and safe to make the experience as smooth as possible.
Veterinarians recommend a dog’s nails should be trimmed every 3 to 4 weeks, or more if their nails don’t naturally wear down or grow quickly.
Ear Cleanse
Includes the use of a Veterinary grade, soothing, and drying ear cleaning solution to wash the dog’s ears.
If your dog is experiencing symptoms of an ear infection or ear irritation, we will direct your dog to their Veterinarian for further treatment.
Teeth Brushing
Includes the use of a special flavored Virbac C.E.T Toothpaste applied to the dog’s teeth for routine cleaning.
Veterinarians recommend daily toothbrushing for dogs. Brushing three times a week is the minimum recommendation to help remove plaque and prevent tartar accumulation.
